CI & i4.0 Manager - VG APAC

A fully trained and certified Lean Six Sigma professional to coordinate, assist and drive the implementation of the VEH Group Continuous Improvement (CI) Strategy and to improve performance at all plants to include; Korea, China and India. Work with Ops Directors, Plant Managers and site Continuous Improvement Managers to implement the CI strategy through VSM, to drive cultural change, implement Eaton Lean Tool Certification programs, to develop CI plans in order to advance and sustain Customer Scorecards and High 5 performance. Leading in Industry 4.0 steering committee to set strategy/direction and leading to deploy and execute in the region. A. Coordinates and establishes EBS Pull priorities and annual CI Plans for each plant with the involvement of the division OPS Director, plant leadership team and site CI leader. The plan should support EBS Pull flow down, Sector & Aerospace CI Strategy, and High 5 improvement. B. Coordinates and executes VSMs between the plants to identify best strategies to reduce the non-value added activities between the plants C. Ensure annual self-assessments are completed at each plant to include but not limited to ELSS, OpA, as well as formal assessments when required. These assessments must identify gaps driving maturity levels, annual action plans to improve and include a process to monitor progress. D. Monitor performance and CI plans for each plant, participate in regular reviews and recommend opportunities for improvement as necessary. E. Mentors, coaches and challenges site leadership teams and CI leaders in the integration and use of ELSS methodology to include but not limited to Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF), ,ELSS Tools, Rapid Improvement Events/Kaizen and Lean Six Sigma Projects, as well as the VEH Lean Tool Certification Program. F. Leads process improvements teams including Rapid Improvement Events/Kaizen, as necessary, and directs timely completion of projects that meet top Corporate, Industrial Sector, VEH Group and/or Division priorities. G. Acts as an instructor & Mentor for various ELSS training programs which include EBS Pull, specific ELSS tools, Lean training & certification, Six Sigma Greenbelt training & certification, CI for Front Line Leaders. H. Supports, as needed, Corporate, Industrial Sector, VEH Group, and/or Division initiatives to include special projects or councils. I. Following Industry 4.0 process, coordinates and establishes region Industry 4.0 priorities and annual Industry 4.0 Plans with leading & lagging indicators for each plant with the involvement of the Regional Ops Director, plant leadership team and site Industry 4.0 leader. And align with VG Industry 4.0 leader with 2 way communication. J. Report BSC performance to VG Ops VP, APAC GM and Industry 4.0 leader monthly and get feedback for improvement as needed. K. Coordinates and executes benchmarking of Industry 4.0 practices between the plants to promote awareness & engagement as well as identify cost out opportunities. L. Set up annual region BSC with plants and VG Industry council champs, and coaches and challenges site leadership and Industry 4.0 champion. M. Monitor BSC performance for each plant, participate in regular monthly reviews and recommend opportunities for improvement as needed. N. Roll out regional Industry 4.0 council. O. Key role to deploy digital mindset in the region. (by training, mentoring) P. BOC of each plant’s Industry 4.0 leader’s capability by coaching and mentoring. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, science, math or technical field Seven to ten years of experience in Continuous Improvement CI methods(EBS Pull, OpA, ELSS, CIF), system thinking and daily manufacturing management, strategic management and project management. Industry 4.0 Strong interpersonal and planning skills.
