Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Performance Testing

The Role: Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer. The Team: a key team role is to ensure the highest quality data is stored and delivered via company-wide data governance strategies for the purpose of improving the efficiency and increasing the profitability of the business units we serve. Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle and serve as the key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA activities with all stakeholders. Responsibilities: Take the lead in establishing and evolving formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures (manual and automated) Identify and provide feedback on the gaps/anomalies in the requirements Identify and explain risks to non-technical stakeholders Help implement and drive automated testing strategies across multiple systems and platforms Work with the managers, software engineers, and others to help drive a test strategy based on Scrum/Agile methodologies and implement best practices Build great testing environments, frameworks, and tools with commanding knowledge of testing fundamentals. Understand QA development and testing flow from requirements gathering to creating tests based on those requirements as well as establishing testing baselines and creating focus areas of testing. Show continuous reach and establishment of QA practice and deliver test reports. Achieve excellent project execution results by actively participating in sprint planning, kickoff, and review meetings Give recommendations and best practices as well as apply them for creating automation for the different aspects of testing Plan and execute system performance and load testing / Data testing Familiarity with the entire software development life cycle and test cycles (Unit, Regression, Functional, Systems, Stress & Scale, Smoke & Sanity) What We’re Looking For: Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, information systems, quality engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience. Experience with automated QA tools. Experience with Python for developing QA Test applications as well as some knowledge of CI/CD operations. Past experience with any load and performance testing with tools Hands-on experience with key AWS services (Lambda, EC2, fargate, S3) and Docker Experience with Linux bash or KSH scripting Database query knowledge, experienced level (e.g. SQL, PL/SQL) Hands-on experience working on production-grade data warehousing solutions on large-scale data technologies such as Oracle, Snowflake, and Postgres Flexible Working We pride ourselves on our agility and diversity, and we welcome requests to work flexibly.
