We manage transportation and related logistics of goods and services to and from internal and/or external customers/suppliers.<br><br><b>Partner with the best</b><br><br>In this role you will manage transportation and related logistics of goods and services to and from internal and/or external customers/suppliers. Understands concepts, methods, procedures and approaches.<br><br><b>As a Logistics Specialist you will be responsible for:</b><br><ul><li>Developing and leading end-to-end logistics solutions to achieve required on-time pick up & delivery of goods</li><li>Managing Logistics Costs to meet budgets and Op Plans.</li><li>Liaising with approved Logistics Service Providers (LSP) to attain best cost/service options for shipments</li><li>Using business systems and to generate the shipping documents</li><li>Performing the record keeping of the logistics documentation as per the policy & procedures</li><li>Arranging required customs clearances shipping / receiving & packing activities</li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br><b>To be successful in this role you will:</b><br><ul><li>Have at least Higher National diploma</li><li>Have at least 3 years experience in in logistics and freight forwarding</li><li>Be able to speak English with good oral and written communication skills.</li><li>Have knowledge and experience in customs and excise and transportation taxes for import and export of goods</li><li>Have good working knowledge of principal modes of shipment; road, sea and air</li><li>Possess considerable knowledge of INCOTERMS, documentation and international customs requirements</li><li>Be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)</li></ul><br><br><b>Work in a way that works for you</b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
