Operations Support Engineer - Subsea

Our team provides support for customer operations to ensure continuity for production.<br><br><b>Take ownership for project management</b><br><br>As the Operations Support Engineer - Subsea, you will support the Projects engineering teams, manufacturing and Sourcing teams by investigating and finding solutions for any work in progress issues on materials, parts, procedures for new equipment being processed through Batam manufacturing site, other global sites & global suppliers.<br><br>As a Operations Support Engineer - Subsea, you will be responsible for:<br><ul><li>Investigating and dispositioning of non-conformance reports (GRRs) from global manufacturing centres of excellence against project & company requirements.<br></li><li>Implementing product revisions (AFCs / ECNs) identified from product non-conformance reports.<br></li><li>Identifying improvements in existing products, procedures and processes and develop cost effective solutions which eliminate non-conformance reports.<br></li><li>Collaborating with product owners on product dispositions, product revisions, and opportunities for cost out as result of non-conformance reports.<br></li><li>Collaborating with manufacturing engineers, commodity managers & manufacturing technicians in the investigation & resolution of product non-conformance reports.<br></li><li>Undertaking design verification which include risk analysis, failure analysis, design reviews, calculations, finite element analysis in establishing appropriate disposition of product non-conformance reports.<br></li><li>Providing technical support for completion of factory acceptance testing of Xmas tree assembly and EFAT / SIT activities of Well Systems.<br></li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br><ul><li>Have Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science.<br></li><li>Have demonstrable experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment.<br></li><li>Have good interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills <br></li><li>Have proven technological proficiency in relevant engineering tools <br></li><li>Have good understanding of manufacturing, materials and coating processes to make data-based recommendations and decisions.<br></li><li>Be able to work in a team environment<br></li></ul><br><br><b>Work in a way that works for you</b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
