Assistant Driller - Papua New Guinea

<p>The Assistant Driller is responsible for helping the Driller as needed with Crewmembers and making sure all duties are carried out safely and properly.</p>

<p><u>ROLE</u></p>

<ul>
<li>To demonstrate and promote safety leadership</li>
<li>Assist the Driller, Tool Pusher, Rig Manager, Operator Rep. or Crewmembers as needed.</li>
<li>Give Crewmembers guidance and support when and where it is needed.</li>
</ul>

<p><u>RESPONSIBILITIES</u></p>

<ul>
<li>Personally responsible for own safety and conducting ones self to the standards of Nabors Policies and Procedures</li>
<li>Assist the Driller in operation of rig and equipment when needed</li>
<li>Make sure all duties delegated by Driller for crewmembers are carried out safely and quickly as possible</li>
<li>Help crewmembers with duties as needed</li>
<li>Attending and participating in all safety meetings and drills</li>
<li>Reporting all accidents, incidents and near misses to direct supervisor</li>
<li>Being involved in the Smart Program</li>
<li>Constant checking of rig and equipment to make sure it is in good running condition and if any doubts something doesn't seem right report it to direct supervisor</li>
<li>Practice safe work habits and set an example for crewmembers</li>
<li>Keep a good attitude towards your job and supervisors</li>
<li>Give guidance to crewmembers when you see them doing something the wrong way</li>
<li>Always be aware of what is going on around you</li>
<li>Always wear your Personal Protective Equipment</li>
<li>Do whatever is asked of you to the best of your ability</li>
<li>Ensure understanding of, and compliance with, Nabors permit to work system</li>
