<b>NO START DATE FOR THIS POSITION, UPDATING DATABASE FOR POTENTIAL POSITIONS</b><br> <br><b>REPORTS TO:</b> Toolpusher<br> <br><b>DEPARTMENT:</b> Drilling<br> <br><b>JOB SUMMARY: </b>Conduct the drilling and well operation in a safe manner according to plans and procedures, including supervision of the drill crew.<br> <br><b>PRE-REQUISITES/QUALIFICATIONS: </b><br> <ul> <li>Drilling Technical Courses or Equivalent</li> <li>1-2+ years experience as Driller on 6th Generation Ultra-Deepwater AKMH Drawwork Semi-Submersible</li> <li>Well Control Level 3 </li> <li>HPHT Experience</li> <li>Structured and organized mindset</li> <li>High level of integrity</li> <li>Analytical ability</li> <li>Good verbal and written communication skills in English</li> <li>Must pass Physical, Drug Screen and Background/Pre-Employment Screening Checks</li> </ul> Position Requirements <br><b>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES: </b><br><br><b>Leadership</b><br> <ul> <li>Lead the drill crew in accordance with Seadrill's vision and values.</li> <li>Know all members of your crew.</li> <li>Ensure that all are familiar with the operational plans and own tasks.</li> <li>Take necessary action against unacceptable behaviour.</li> <li>Assign tasks to the drill crew.</li> </ul> <br><br><b>Competence</b><br> <ul> <li>Perform/ensure on the job training.</li> <li>Be in accordance with competence requirements at all times.</li> <li>Know status on your crew members vs. competence assurance system</li> <li>Ensure acceptable level of crew competence and act when insufficient.</li> <li>Decide correct tempo on the operation based on crew competence.</li> </ul> <br><br><b>Operations</b><br> <ul> <li>Execute all drilling and well operations according to written instructions/ plans from Seadrill line management.</li> <li>Owner of the well integrity at all times.</li> <li>Ensure that the drilling equipment is operated in a proper manner within its capacity limits and at the correct tempo</li> <li>Ensure good communication between all involved in the ongoing operation.</li> <li>Not leave the drill floor unless qualified relief and ensure that the drillers cabin is manned at all times when connected to a well.</li> <li>Keep the drill floor tidy and clean.</li> <li>Conduct flow checks and/or shut in well.</li> <li>Request assistance from superior personnel.</li> <li>Refuse to operate if instructions/plans are insufficient or substandard to Seadrill's requirements.</li> <li>Emergency duties according to the unit's emergency organization.</li> </ul> <br><br>The above is intended as a summary of the key requirements for the position and is not intended to be complete list of all duties and responsibilities.<br><br>It is the objective Puglisevich to ensure employment equity within the workplace.
