Pre-Delivery Technician

Perfection Truck Parts & Equipment offers heavy- and light-duty equipment installation, equipment repair, parts installation, crane service and paint and body repair. The company supports over 120 lines of truck and industrial parts and over 100 lines of truck and trailer mounted equipment. Perfection Equipment also specializes in upfitting oilfield and specialized service trucks. The Pre-Delivery Technician is responsible for the proper installation and operation of truck and trailer mounted equipment as assigned. Responsibilities Read job order and plan work procedures. Document work performed in an accurate and timely manner. Must be proficient in the proper and safe use of hand and air operated tools. Possess a basic understanding of the operation and use of a welder and a cutting torch. Must be capable of installing and troubleshooting basic 12VDC electrical components. Respond to customer inquiries regarding the work performed. Advise service manager and/or service writer of any repairs or services which should be performed within the next 3 months. Tag all warranty parts and returns to warranty clerk. Ensure interior and exterior of the vehicle are clean when vehicle is returned to the customer. Clean and maintain an orderly stall and general work areas. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Minimum of three months related experience.
