The Role: Senior Software Engineer The Location: Virtual, NY Grade: 10 (for internal use only) The Team: You will be working in the Capptivate Solutions Development Team with a small team globally. The team of around 10 developers work in a cooperative and supportive manner to deliver changes to our regulatory reporting platform. Team members are never stuck – all team members can take part in all aspects of software development. Join us and contribute significantly to the growth of the firm by: Delivering new clients onto our GRRS platform Investigating and solving defects Working on regulatory changes affecting the platform Responsibilities: You will work in an agile development environment, using AWS Cloud and CI/CD methodologies Remote working as the default Supportive culture in the team Follow-the-sun workflow where necessary Work hours limited to within Eastern Standard Time (EST) What We’re Looking For: Basic Qualifications: You will work with tools and technologies that will involve having the following qualities (you don’t need experience with all of these!): BSc in Computer Science or equivalent degree Experience in Java / C
/ .net core Experience with cloud framework (AWS is an advantage) Experience with source/version control (git/Bitbucket preferred) Experience with CI/CD processes Clean code and quality oriented Great communicator and strong interpersonal abilities 3-5 years of relevant experience to hold a senior role Preferred Qualifications: Problem solving skills Technical background/interest in development Team player Dependable Ability to train and mentor Flexible Working We are happy to consider requests to work flexibly. Compensation and Benefits Information: S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $ 70,300 - $139,800. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
