Job Summary Responsible for directing all National Construction activities in support of new plant construction. Works with Division Construction Management to provide direction and guidance necessary to develop budgets for and allocate appropriate funds for new builds, rebuilds, upgrades and other construction efforts. Responsible for Construction, Fiber Construction, Planned and Emergency Restoration, Utility Relations and Project Management. About the Team: The Construction Operations team is made up of passionate individuals focusing on the core services of aerial and underground Telecom construction. We are the company resource for all construction related guidance on process/procedure standards, quality and cost effective construction methods. Core Responsibilities: Establishes and maintains recommended construction standards and practices. Oversees work activities of installation, site survey, trouble call and construction coordination of commercial customers. Aligns performance metrics to support the achievement of business, department and team goals. Works closely with division and region staff to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting, measuring and monitoring new build and commercial opportunities. Negotiates pricing; executes and manages the On-Target/Dig-Safe contracts to guarantee the most fluid network underground plant protection operating procedures and the best financial pricing for each region within the division. Works closely with Corporate/Legal to ensure that all contractors/vendors meet all Company guidelines for Certificate of Insurances and Company Master Agreements. Leads and directs the Division Design Center team. Ensures accuracy of all plant design. Directs/Oversees all projects within the region. Works with commercial lead to develop and execute overall strategies that will support both residential and commercial initiatives. Practices and ensures Company safety policies and procedures are followed. Skills & Experience We're Looking For: Ten (10) years construction management experience in cable and fiber optics. Successfully led construction, engineering and business functions at a high growth telecom company. Consistent record of accomplishment within a construction leadership role. Proven skills in developing and coaching team members to maximize their skills and capabilities. Relevant Work Experience 10 Years + Salary: National Pay Range: $100,157.63 USD-$225,354.67 USD Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
