Ver&Val, Senior Test Engineer

SUMMARY OF JOB: Verification & Validation Engineer This role is located in Schneider R&D Center under Schneider Electric Digital Power Business Unit. Power Quality China R&D team is developing & testing Power Quality mitigation products for China &Global market, including LV components, LV capacitor bank, DVR, Active correction offers. Verification & Validation Engineer is required to help the project team to achieve outstanding product quality by driving early detection and resolution of defects, improving test coverage, and making extensive use of automation techniques to reduce development timescales. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Follow test plan to execute all test task mainly at power electronics, firmware, EMC, safety, reliability, component and so on, - Find and report the issues, support designer to clear understand and solve issues. - Complete the parts and product test report and summary in good quality and enough test setup description and pictures, test data. SECONDARY FUNCTIONS: - Work in conjunction with tools for change management/defect logging and test management. - Perform automated testing of products and archiving of test files to ensure compliance with functional requirements and international standards, needed to support development and maintenance of existing and future products. - Involve liaison with the development teams to improve testability in the design and resolution of test failure. 资格 Compulsory: EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED: 2+ years working experience in power electronics product test KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: - Fundamental of Power electronics and firmware function - Electronics components application - Test method and equipment usage - Well documentation ability Ideal: Experienced in verification & validation or certification test. Experienced at active power correction products, e.g., harmonic mitigation and power factor correction and load balancing. An open minded to learn test standard and product testflow. High responsibility to finish test work on time and with high quality. Logging of defects found during the testing process to expedite remedial work by developers.
