Maintenance Technician

PFC Flexible Circuits Ltd, an OSIE Company, is seeking a permanent full time Maintenance Technician. Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Monday - Friday Responsibilities Maintain and repair all plant equipment, schedule repairs when necessary. Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel, follow safety protocol. Conduct maintenance of electrical systems. Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety regulations. Support the setup of ventilation and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary. Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality. Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business. Qualifications 2+ years experience in an industrial environment. Qualified Millwright or community college diploma in mechanical or electrical discipline desired. Must have steady hands. Must be able to utilize a magnifiying glass. Detail orientated with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Some knowledge of programmable logic controller would be an asset. Some plumbing knowledge would be an asset. Some electrical knowledge would be an asset. Working knowledge of MS Office, Excel. Must be willing to work flexible hours. Occasional weekend work required to complete preventative maintenance during production down time.
