Heated Tobacco Design & Maintenance Lead, Senior Engineer II

Overview Want to lead the maintenance of and change management activities for commercial ready and commercialized heated tobacco product materials and design specifications for a Fortune 200 Company with some of the most iconic brands? If you have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science along with 3 plus years of relevant experience in a regulated environment, we want to speak with you! We are currently looking for a Heated Tobacco Design & Maintenance Lead, Senior Engineer II in Richmond, VA. We offer a hybrid work environment but you would need to be located in close proximity to Richmond, VA to come in as needed. What you will be doing: Leading the development of final product Bill of Materials and Design Specifications for Heated Tobacco product line extensions, while maintaining requirements for the commercial ready and commercialized Heated Tobacco product portfolio. Leading the change management infrastructure for commercial ready and commercialized Heated Tobacco products. Supporting Direct Material supplier change management projects for commercial ready and commercialized Heated Tobacco products. Incorporating Quality by Design (QbD) principles in the development, maintenance, and change management infrastructure for commercial ready and commercialized Heated Tobacco products to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements. Working with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions to complex problems related to overall Heated Tobacco product design and manufacturing challenges. Coordinating and/or completing studies, data collection, and/or reports needed to support regulatory filings for Heated Tobacco commercial ready and commercialized products. Generating and maintaining documentation associated with Design of Experiments, material qualifications, and final product evaluations for Heated Tobacco products. Leading development projects in alignment with Operating Company objectives. Supporting manufacturing scale up activities and pilot plant operations to manufacture Heated Tobacco product consumables for analytical and sensory evaluation. Role may require some domestic and international travel. We want you to have: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science 3+ years of relevant work experience in a regulated environment Ability to complete cross-functional projects and employ project management skills Experience working in a pilot scale process environment preferred. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, and experience with QbD, Trackwise, and SAP preferred.
