<div class="mds-edited-text mds-font-body-copy-bulk"><p><strong>1:1 Autism Support - South Birmingham </strong></p><p>** Are you looking for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant role to start this January 2023?</p><p>** Are you looking for a long term role with the possibility for a permanent position after the end of the academic year?</p><p>This <strong>Primary school</strong>, not far away from the <strong>Digbeth</strong> area of Birmingham<strong> </strong>is looking for a <strong>Teaching Assistant to work 1:1</strong> with a child with<strong> Autism</strong> to join their team in <strong>January 2023</strong> till the end of the Academic Year. </p><p><strong>This position is a full time position Monday - Friday, term time only working 8.30 -3.30pm, with the possibility of a permanent / contract position for the following academic year. </strong></p><p>The role will be working in their <strong>Year 3 class with a child with Autism</strong> from January until the end of the Academic Year. This position would suit a qualified Teaching Assistant with SEN experience who wants to feel rewarded in their role and has a calm and warm approach to the role. Full training will be given to support the child and assist him to access the curriculum in class.</p><p>The child has mild Autism and will require a 1:1 support who will patient, caring, supportive and encouraging. The child has very supportive parents who are keen to assist the school by talking new techniques home to try to augment his progress in school.</p><p>The successful <strong>Teaching assistant</strong> will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and will be comfortable talking to parents, staff and visitors to the school.
