Find out more: Our approach to R&D In this role you will provide expert support ensuring the development, implementation and timely availability of consistent, high quality scientific data standards and governance deliverables supporting the acquisition, analysis and reporting of scientific data. Key Responsibilities: Lead and contribute to scientific data standards and governance definition, implementation and support including the development and maintenance of associated metadata, documents, business rules and guidelines where applicable In collaboration with representatives across disciplines in R&D and PSC, ensure the accurate translation of scientific and analytical requirements into efficient, compliant standards spanning the full asset lifecycle, including measurement and communication on the value of standardisation Partner closely with data generators, scientific experts , data managers, data scientists , IT and other business stakeholders to make sure our data is timely, robust, trustworthy and compliant. Act as an expert consultant providing data standards and governance input to all relevant areas including; electronic data capture, metadata management and/or other scientific data management or analysis data systems Establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships and act as subject matter expert (SME) for CMC providing support, consultation and training to end users and SME networks on implementation of data governance and related tools on CMC programs Maintain up-to-date, expert knowledge of relevant technologies (electronic data capture software languages, applications etc.), industry standards (e.g. IDMP, S88, AnIML etc.) and regulatory guidelines Partner with CMC Tech and Data groups to ensure that data standards and data models support the use and transformation of data (including associated metadata) including harmonisation of data curation workflows and adoption of governance in analytics tools May represent GSK within industry wide associations and working groups; contributing to regulatory guidelines, industry practices and professional standards development organizations such as Allotrope and Pistoia Establish and set up global policies, frameworks , methodologies and platforms for access and security, data sharing, integrity and quality along the end-to-end data flows and lifecycle, from generation/acquisition to use and re-use Closing Date for Applications: 20/01/2023 Please take a copy of the Job Description, as this will not be available post closure of the advert. A proven leader with experience leading data and digital initiatives in complex, diverse, matrix environments and a track record of change management Superb communicator, networker and influencer who can challenge and shape how things are done.
