We have an exciting opportunity to join BMS’s Innovative Medicines Business Unit working in Dermatology and Psoriasis with the aim of improving & transforming the lives of patients, their families & the NHS. We are therefore, seeking an exceptional Senior Brand Manager to join the marketing team where you will be given accountability to build a best-in-class strategy and deliver truly impactful initiatives to drive sales whilst working in our fantastic BMS culture. Performance leadership and strategic acumen will be critical to drive success in this role as we launch into a highly competitive market across UK and Ireland, but our immunology launches are key to global and affiliate future success. Reports to: Associate Director of Immunology Role Specification: The Senior Brand Manager will support the Immunology Business Unit in the UK and Ireland: Applying insight developed from customers and stakeholders and anticipating the market evolution, in line with brand strategy Support and lead the development, implementation and review of the strategic plan Developing value messages specifically relevant to payer customers and in line with the strategy for use by the field team Coordinating UK and Ireland Access Marketing initiatives, in line with the brand plan and in liaison with central market access team. Lead the development, implementation and review of the Market Access strategic plan Strategically lead and implement key projects that interface between BMS and UK regional decision makers to create unrestricted access to BMS’ prioritised licenced product portfolio for appropriate patients through targeted market access & health policy initiatives. Interpret and shape implementation of NHSE national strategies at a sub-national level to ensure business critical opportunities are maximised and NHS barriers mitigated to facilitate access to our immunology products. Develop and maintain expertise in health systems, decision making units, data, and funding streams, policy, and patient pathways in assigned therapy areas Executing brand plan by leading delivery of your projects but also in collaboration with the Matrix team, Marketing and Field Team (IHM) to ensure all appropriate patients gain rapid access to BMS medicines while meeting the needs of key customers Developing messages relevant to customers and in line with the strategy developed by the Marketing Team, for use by the field team Coordinating UK and Ireland Marketing initiatives, in line with the brand plan and in liaison with matrix team to ensure delivery Joint accountability for the brand revenue with a particular focus on priority growth drivers for Dermatology & Psoriasis with a focus on launch Support the field team (IHMs) with implementing strategy and key tactical delivery with regional account plans Support the innovation of delivering strategy with third party providers To provide strategic and tactical insight to BMS functions ensuring that barriers/challenges to BMS’ markets and business opportunities for licenced products are identified and appropriately managed through robust implementation plans To promote BMS as a valued partner of the NHS (including other agencies and organizations aligned to the NHS) and to develop and influence priority accounts and stakeholders Build trusted and strategic relationships with HCPs and related stakeholders across UK, understand their specific needs and priorities. Prioritise and partner with most relevant stakeholders, undertaking a customer-led approach to align objectives with those of BMS. Be accountable and liaise with the key strategic customer groups Utilise project outputs to scale across the health system at a national and sub-national level shaping sub-national and, where appropriate, national strategy. Take a lead role in shaping the BMS approach to Structured Innovation and creating pilot schemes to test bed new models of care and value Generate opportunities to utilise bespoke datasets fusing health system and BMS data to better inform health system priorities Be disease expert in our specific field, with very high clinical, product & disease knowledge with the ability convey that knowledge to improve the lives of patients with BMS products. Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Essential Experience in Immunology market Proven track record in marketing and demonstrated sales through delivering a strategic plan Demonstrate understanding of the UK healthcare system and pharmaceutical industry Understanding of project management methods, planning and implementing projects and tactical plans Demonstrated success working in cross functional or matrix teams and external customers Computer literate –in Word, Excel, Email, Internet, and ability to pick up new in-house systems Strong analytical and numerical skills Ability to influence without line authority Self-driven team worker able to work in a matrix environment Desirable Dermatology therapeutic area experience Launching Spec Comms or CCG/ICS reimbursed low-vol/high-cost products into a highly competitive market Understanding of health economics and cost-effectiveness data ability to use them to develop value messages or business impact models Degree educated (or equivalent) and ABPI/ IPHA qualification (or equivalent)
