<b>JOB SUMMARY: </b>Assistant Technical Section Leader is responsible for the maintenance and monitoring of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical facilities. Assistant Technical Section Leader is delegated duties for day-to-day operational planning and execution of lifting operations in his/her work area.<br />
<br />
<b>PRE-REQUISITES/QUALIFICATIONS:</b></p>

<ul>
<li>3+ years experience as an Assistant Technical Section Leader on 6th Generation Ultra-Deepwater Semi-Submersible</li>
<li>Canadian Chief Engineer License (Unlimited) MOU Surface or STCW Equivalent</li>
<li>Broad range of mechanical, electrical skills and troubleshooting techniques</li>
<li>Structured and organized mindset</li>
<li>High level of integrity</li>
<li>Analytical ability</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English</li>
<li>Must pass Physical, Drug Screen and Background/Pre-Employment Screening Checks</li>

<p>Position Requirements<br />
<b>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:</b></p>

<ul>
<li>Assist Technical Section Leader in his/her duties.</li>
<li>Carry out maintenance of the rig&
39;s mechanical equipment and piping systems according to the maintenance program (SAMS and checklists).</li>
<li>Carry out required repairs on mechanical equipment and piping systems.</li>
<li>Ensure that all mechanical equipment and systems are in a first-class state from a safety and operational point of view.</li>
<li>Assist Electrician, as required, in the maintenance and repair of electrical equipment, in coordination with Technical Section Leader.</li>
<li>Assist Drilling Section Leader, as required, in the maintenance and repair of drilling equipment, in coordination with Technical Section Leader.</li>
<li>Assist OIM/ Marine Section Leader, as required, in connection with anchor handling, in coordination with Technical Section Leader.</li>
<li>Assist Engine Room Operator, as required, in connection with major repairs/overhauls of the main engine, emergency engine and associated equipment, in coordination with Technical Section Leader.</li>
<li>Assist Materials Administrator in connection with stocking mechanical parts.</li>
<li>Familiarize himself/herself with and fulfill his/her obligations in connection with emergencies according to the procedures and safety plan.</li>
<li>Observe to uncover any non-compliance and immediately report these to his/her superior.</li>
<li>Responsible for ensuring that all work is done safely and professionally and actively take part in safety meetings and other meetings.</li>
<li>Emergency duties according to the unit&
39;s emergency organization.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
