Business Finance Analyst

Overall Purpose of the Role The FP&A Financial Analyst is responsible for Topline and Gross Margin Analysis and planning at managerial scope level. He/She will execute FP&A processes as they pertain to P&L Management, including reporting and analysis, Orders and Sales deep dive & evolution, forecast & analysis, Gross Margin Evolution country level, analysis and understanding of Gross Margin Levers, backlog analysis and others. The role reports into FP&A Competency Centre but works closely under the direction/guidance of In-Entity Division FP&A Leader. Roles and Responsibilities Analysis of Monthly Performance Preparation and presentation of monthly performance, adequately explained for variances against Prior, Forecast and Targets. Although accounting team may be responsible for accuracy of actuals, the FP&A analyst must maintain close communication with Accounting and other process owners to ensure the integrity and reliability of monthly results. Close collaboration with Zone FBPs to better understand business drivers and being able to challenge performance/forecast as needed. Close collaboration with supply chain finance to gain visibility, understanding and anticipation when it comes to CSC, Mass allocations, and other different margin levers. Point of Contact for Analytical Review Point of contact within Commercial FP&A to address questions regarding monthly performance/forecast. Analysis is regularly provided and presented to managerial scope business leaders, Division FP&A, EM FP&A, Zone FP&A, etc. Rolling Forecast Following guidance that may be received by Division FP&A, supports coordination & consolidation when preparing the quarterly rolling forecast for the perimeter. Preparing & consolidating Mix Mgt and Gross Margin AOC templates. Analyze and interpret RF results & drivers (large deals, mix, price, others) and able to challenge zone submission when needed. Annual Campaigns Supports process Target Setting as well as Prior process following general guidance and instructions received from Division FP&A. Ad-Hoc Other Ad-Hoc responsibilities as deemed necessary for the role. Key Relationships Managerial scope leader Accounting CoCe Division FP&As EM Commercial FP&A Consolidation teams Lob/Department FBPs Resource Centers Qualifications Background Degree in Finance, Accounting 3+ years post-qualification experience in relevant field FP&A or Accounting Cost Controlling Reporting and Analysis Key Competencies Able to communicate effectively, including senior business leaders Able to work proactively and autonomously Able to actively propose, track, challenge actions for cash out performance Able to work with personal accountability and ownership Experience working with Oracle, HFM and Essbase Experience with BI and presentation tools such as Alteryx, Tableau and the likes is a plus With key vision to digitize and automate processes and focus on value-added analyses to drive business decisions.
