<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is recruiting for a <b>Graduate Structural Engineer</b> to join our centrally located team in Perth, Western Australia, for an immediate start. <br><br>Wood Operations delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, optimisation and technical services to the oil and gas sector and enjoys long-term partnerships with some of the region's most prominent producers, actively supporting operations in Western Australia, the Northern Territory, Kazakhstan, and Sakhalin. At Wood you will join an inclusive and diverse global community of inquisitive minds and recognised industry innovators, partnering to create new possibilities. <br><br>Reporting to the Lead Structural Engineer and working across the project life cycle (Concept, FEED, detailed design) , your focus will be design, specification and services related to Structural and Civil Engineering in support of our key clientele as part of an ongoing Engineering Service Contract. <br><br>You will be responsible for: <br><ul><li> Working closely with the Engineering team to assist with detailed design and documentation requirements </li><li> Supporting engineers and designers for Offshore facilities SOW for Brownfield upgrades </li><li> Providing technical assistance to others when required </li><li> Building strong working relationships with the structural team and other discipline engineering groups </li></ul><br> Join us in the heart of Perth's CBD at Dexus Place - 240 St Georges Terrace, free 24/7 access to an exclusive onsite gym, superb end of trip facilities, coffee machines serving on demand and plenty of spaces to get creative. In addition, you will have access to remote and flexible working options, purchased annual leave and employee discount programs. <br><br>At Wood you will join an inclusive and diverse global community of inquisitive minds and recognised industry innovators, partnering to create new possibilities. <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br>You must be an Australian citizen OR hold Permanent Residency (PR) status OR have full working rights in Australia to be considered for this role. <br><br>Ideally, you will be suitably qualified with a Civil / Structural Engineering Bachelor degree from a recognised institution and have relevant Structural Engineering exposure / experience in the O&G industry. Recent graduates are also encouraged to apply. <br><br>You will have: <br><ul><li> Experience in Structural design and engineering with exposure to the use of API, AISC and ISO design codes </li><li> Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) </li><li> Exceptional analytical and numerical skills </li><li> Experience in the use of SACS, StaadPro software packages (desirable) </li><li> A
