<div class="mds-edited-text mds-font-body-copy-bulk"><p>We are looking for an experienced individual to join our central team as Primary Operations Manager, leading on compliance within FSM/Pupil Premium, medical and first aid, asset and contract registers, GDPR, and safer recruitment and SCR across a group of primary academies.</p>

<p>Our central team comprises a dedicated, driven group of departments working centrally to provide support across the Federation and all of our academies. Across a multitude of key departments, we maintain an outstanding body of staff all integral to supporting central and academy finance, HR, Data, Estates management, Talent and many more.</p>
<p><strong>Main Areas of Responsibility</strong></p>
<p>The purpose of your role will be:</p>
<ul>
<li>To lead on all compliance elements outlined in the main areas of responsibility in the job pack across a group of primary academies, ensuring that all academies are compliant with statutory requirements at all times</li>
<li>To ensure that specialist staff in each academy are supported, developed and challenged to ensure that they take responsibility at a local level for statutory compliance</li>
<li>To provide specialist professional development in areas of compliance for academy-based staff</li>
<li>To liaise with the central Federation team on behalf of academies within the quadrants to ensure compliance issues or concerns are dealt with quickly and effectively</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience</strong></p>
<p>The successful candidate will have:</p>
<ul>
<li>Qualifications to degree level or equivalent</li>
<li>Knowledge of Microsoft software packages</li>
<li>Secure knowledge of Health and Safety legislation</li>
<li>Secure knowledge of Human Resources legislation</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of financial procedures</li>
<li>Knowledge of procurement processes</li>
<li>Knowledge of the key principles of staff management</li>
<li>At least 5 years' experience working an office environment</li>
<li>At least 2 years' experience of managing a team</li>
<li>of staff in a variety of different areas</li>
<li>Experience of training staff successfully in a range of duties</li>
<li>Experience of working as part of a team</li>
