CONTRACT ENGINEER

At <b>Eni</b>, we are looking for a<b> Contract Engineer </b>within <b>Eni Oman </b>in<b> Mascate, Oman</b>. You will be responsible for leading the contract award process and prepare all the necessary documentation under the supervision of the management; You will be liaising with internal Clients, and Suppliers; To respect the Company&
39;s standards and practices to comply with the Company&
39;s Control systems.<br />
<br />
<b>As a member of </b> <b>the procurement team at Eni Oman you will be responsible for</b>:</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<ul>
<li>Receiving internal Requisition;</li>
<li>Analysing the requests and, accordingly, prepare the appropriate strategy, to be approved by the management, in order to meet the requirements, including:</li>
<li>Selecting of subitale Bidders;</li>
<li>Selecting of appropriate Contractual Standards</li>
<li>Carrying out due diligence on Suppliers</li>
<li>Issuing to the bidder(s) the Tender documentation</li>
<li>Act as focal point for the receipt and management of their queries</li>
<li>Receiving the Bidders proposals</li>
<li>Organizing the opening committees for technical and commercial bid openings</li>
<li>Ensuring, under the supervision of the management, that the requesting unit provides an adequate technical evaluation of the proposals, if and when applicable</li>
<li>Preparing the economic evaluation of the bid for the approval</li>
<li>Negotiating under supervision of management (with the selected Supplier) prices, terms and conditions</li>
<li>Preparing the contract documentation and award recommendation for the approval</li>
<li>Ensuring correct distribution of contracts to supplier and internal functions;</li>
<li>Ensuring proper archiving and storage of all tender and contractual documentation</li>
</ul>

<li>Strong academicals background</li>
<li>Accredited University Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or similar.</li>
<li>Master preferable.</li>
<li>Oil &amp; gas Industry experience</li>
<li>contracting experience</li>
<li>Excellent oral and written English.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.</li>
