Project Manager

The Technical Delivery Manager is primarily responsible for managing the overall project for the implementation of Firewall/SDWAN. This role is also required to work on new site cutovers which requires technical skillsets primarily on FortiGate devices. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a highly dynamic environment along with a team of highly skilled resources and should have experience leading implementation projects in the past. Key Responsibilities Build project plans, review existing ones to make sure that they are feasible, including realistic timelines and budgets. Monitoring project status and managing project scope to ensure that implementation is completed within agreed timelines. Managing technical staff members and contractors to ensure that project requirements and deadlines are met. Conduct regular delivery reviews to prevent cost and schedule overruns, meets the target of operational parameters. Coordinating with other internal and customer departments as needed to ensure that implementations are completed efficiently and effectively. Reviewing technical documentation to make sure that it is accurate and complete. Leading meetings with clients or other stakeholders to discuss project goals, progress, and challenges. Contribute to the technical discussions on the overall architecture of the network and firewall implementation approaches. Highlight any technical and non-technical challenges which can impact the overall project timelines. Support the implementation team and help with leading site cutover changes both technically and from project management perspective when ever required. Work on creating KPI’s and generating reports based on this KPIs. Prepare status reports and present them in customer meetings. Work on creating various processes related to the implementation project in accordance with the customer requirements. Qualifications and Skills Prior experience leading firewall implementation projects. Working experience on FortiGate firewalls and BGP routing protocol. Excellent knowledge of networking concepts including routing & switching. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer handling skills including experience working in a customer facing role. Ability to learn new things and single handedly drive tasks related to the implementation project.
