Machinist - Oilfield Equipment

We collaborate with our development teams in science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, geoscience, to develop innovative completion tools.<br><br><b>Partner with the best</b><br><br>The Machinist will be required to carry out Machining on raw material parts to a high degree of quality, and work with the team to meet the production schedule, also at the same time able to meet EHS/HSE standard. <br><br>As a Machinist, you will be responsible for:<br><ul><li>Working within close tolerances to perform adjustments and measurements assuring proper alignment of machine and parts, etc.<br></li><li>Applying measuring tool to inspect parts to ensure conformity to requirements.<br></li><li>Performing critical dimensions recording and machining mapping.<br></li><li>Assisting support team in carrying out tool performance evaluation as well as testing of new program and new cutting tool.<br></li><li>Producing quality, efficient and productive part in machining<br></li><li>Performing good 5S housekeeping and inspection as per schedule and upkeep machine tool performance<br></li><li>Improving machining processes continuously as well as ensuring all safety measures are monitored throughout the work<br></li><li>Following instructions from Line Supervisor for performing daily task.<br></li><li>Being discipline for clocking hours according to each WO sequences. and sign off the MOs accordingly after completion of work.<br></li><li>Adhering to Company Safety and Environmental policies<br></li><li>Checking any work instructions or setup sheet for the job and verify the program (ensure the revision of program corresponds with the current revision)<br></li><li>Participating in EHS/HSE program and proactively involve in improving EHS/HSE Culture in Batam Site.<br></li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br><ul><li>Have graduated from secondary education<br></li><li>Have at least 2 years working experience in operating CNC Turning or Milling Machine<br></li><li>Have basic knowledge of cutting tool application, fixture devices, part setting etc.<br></li><li>Have basic knowledge of machine software application<br></li><li>Have basic analytical skills in dealing with machining variances<br></li><li>Have good communication and interpersonal skill<br></li></ul><br><br><b>Work in a way that works for you</b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
