Þscription - External Job Description: Schneider Digital DEVS working closely with the Energy Management & Industrial Automation is building the next generation of a fully integrated Platform as a Service (PaaS) for IoT on the Edge and on the Cloud. This platform capitalizes on all digital capabilities to accelerate EcoStruxure roadmaps across the company. An integral part of this Platform is EcoStruxure Exchange. EcoStruxure Exchange is responsible for opening up EcoStruxure to the external world through a Developer Portal exposing Open APIs / SDKs / Datasets and Analytics, a Developer Community that can collaborate and innovate, and a Digital Marketplace that can help monetize developer tools, apps and partner offers. The EcoStruxure Exchange Engineering organization is looking for passionate, experienced, and skilled Software Engineers to help us build, operate and scale Exchange with new content & features as well as targeting a larger set of users and partners around the world. Responsibilities & duties: As a Lead Software Engineer you will work with a team of highly skilled people, all with strong opinions about various technologies, frameworks and approaches to delivery. You will be able to articulate your ideas to your colleagues effectively and will take on board the ideas of others. You will thrive when faced with new challenges and will constantly look to improve clients’ deliverables. Core Responsibilities: Design and develop critical systems with high-availability and high performance. Design, code and integrate n-tier applications with different application components Interested in Innovation and ideation. Contribute to development of new products by building quick POCs and converting ideas into real products. Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver high quality products and services that meet business requirements and exceeds expectations while applying the latest available tools and technology. Have a passion for delivering zero defect code. Effectively communicate status, issues, and risks in a precise and timely manner Work in Agile/Scrum teams and follow the guidelines. Create documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. Collaborate with global and virtual teams on software development. Identify opportunities for future enhancements and refinements to products, standards, best practices and development methodologies A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design & development with high levels of quality & reliability is essential. Qualifications Skills Required: 7+ years of relevant experience with software design, architecture and development life cycle. At least 3 to 5 years experience on Java framework and Java SpringBoot 2+ years experience in Angular, HTML, JavaScript Solid experience in designing and implementing complex solutions Strong technical and analytical troubleshooting skills DevOps & CI/CD experience in Azure DevOps, or any similar a plus Full Stack Software Development experience in large scale mission critical applications. Mandatory experience with n-tier web application development and experience in Java framework. Solid experience in frameworks like Spring or Spring Boot, Sprint MVC, JPA, Hibernate. Expertise with RDBMS systems like SQL Server, Oracle or DB2. Experience working on UI/Web development using Angular, JavaScript, JQuery, and HTML/CSS technologies is required. AWS Cloud architecture experience will be addon advantage Proficient in Web Services/API Development using SOAP or REST, JSON and XML. Proficient in GIT/Stash, Maven, etc Passionate about delivering zero defect code that meet or exceed the proposed defect SLA and have high sense of accountability for quality and timeliness.
