Build and maintain efficient data pipeline architecture ? Assemble large complex data sets that meet functional/non-functional business requirements ? Identify, design and implement process improvements for data delivery ? Build the infrastructure required for efficient extraction, transformation and loading data from a variety of data sources ? Primary responsibilities revolve around DevOps and include implementing ETL (extract, transform and load) pipelines, monitoring/maintaining data pipeline performance. ? Working knowledge of developing using the Azure analytics components including Data Lake, Power BI, Data Factory, Azure Data Explorer, Azure Synapse, Data Warehouse, and Data Bricks. ? Proficient in distributed computing principles and familiar with key architectures including Lambda and Kappa architectures, and has a broad experience across a set of data stores (e. g., HDFS, Azure Data Lake Store, Azure Blob Storage, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure DocumentDB), messaging systems (e. g., Apache Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, Azure IoT Hub) and data processing engines (e. g., Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, Azure Data Lake Analytics, Apache Storm, Azure HDInsight). Previous work with cloud services, preferably Azure Cloud ? Ideally you have experience in several of the following skillsets: Power BI, R, Hive, Pig, Python, Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, Mongo, Cassandra, CosmosDB etc. ? Experience in any other cloud technologies like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ? Business intelligence consulting and client-facing experience ? Non-Microsoft business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Qlik, BO, Cognos etc. ? The ideal candidate has three or more years of experience working on solutions that collect, process, store and analyze large volumes of business-critical data. ?
