VMware Internal IT team is searching for a Senior Client Services Engineer. This role will be responsible for the Build, Operation & Automation of the end user computing services. As a Senior Client Services Engineer, you will be part of the VMWare Colleague Experience & Technology Client Services and will be working with some phenomenal minds of the End User Computing Division. Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing? We are looking for someone who will be responsible for architecting platform-specific solutions that will be utilized across the VMware enterprise. They will need to ensure incidents are effectively prioritized and responded to per defined service level agreements. Excellent oral and written interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain technology solutions in business terms, build rapport and persuade others are skills to have. Additionally, improving customer experience and assisting managers, and other senior staff, with the analysis of customer request tickets, is a requirements for this role. You will be expected to learn the VMware End-User computing technology stack quickly and implement them in production. You will be expected to suggest, and develop automation to reduce the manual efforts You showcase the ability to innovate in the end-user computing services, which is the organization that supports internal colleagues. You take initiative, are creative, and work well in a group. Design and Deploy Horizon Enterprise, Horizon Cloud of Azure stack. Device administration using Workspace ONE, would be a key success factor in your role The role requires you to architect a solution and provide operational support for a platform that adheres to the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). Understanding and applying identity management principles is essential. The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis? As part of the Client Engineering Team, you will: Design, Deploy and manage the Horizon Cloud on Azure Gather requirements from clients, customers or end-users to develop the best automation solutions. work with a team of global admins to maintain the corporate instance of Horizon Virtual Desktop & Virtual App environment Workspace One Access, Unified Endpoint Administration. Build and Operate the Horizon Enterprise, and Horizon Cloud Stack which include managing the Appvolume, and DEM products and integrating with Horizon Stacks in the cloud and on-prem Create and Build Application packages using ThinApp & Appvolume. Add, remove, and modify virtual desktop and application federation configurations. Assist with the day to day activities around Application onboarding to Workspace ONE, Windows Device Administration using Unified Endpoint Administration Tool, Horizon Virtual Desktop & Application deployment & Administration Use the Agile skillset to run the operation in a product mindset. Understanding of Agile scrum process will be a key success sin the role. Collaborate with other business units to understand how automation can improve workflow. Build Automation Scripts using various Programming Languages and APIs. Identify opportunities for automation within Build & Operation processes. What is the leadership like for this role? Flexible: The role is considered flexible and will be a mix of working from a local VMware office in United States of America and remote with United States of America depending on your preferences and the arrangements determined with your future manager.
