<p><b>Main Purpose of the job:</b> To devise a strategy for the promotion of The Production Guild of Great Britain (PGGB) supporting the vision for the company. To maximize the profile, marketing and communications opportunities for PGGB through brand management, marketing, communications, press and PR campaigns</p>
<p><b>Responsible to: </b>Chief Operating Officer</p>
<p><b>Responsible for:</b> 2x Marketing Roles (Training/Business Development), PR and Comms consultant.</p>
<p><b>Normal Hours: </b>9.30am – 6pm, hybrid model, three days a week in the office at Leavesden, 2 days per week homeworking. (with occasional evening and weekend work).</p>
<p><b>Salary </b>£50,000</p>
<p><b>Purpose of the Role</b></p>
<p>Ensure all promotional activity of The Production Guild is mapped to central PGGB business plan and anchored around our membership (both individual & partners) as well as adding value to member benefits. Supporting growth of commercial partners and membership recruitment through marketing engagement. </p>
<p>Maximise PGGB’s unique selling propositions:</p>
<ul>
<li>Market the services and resources we offer to our members, including the value of membership services, business partnership and training opportunities.</li>
<li>Web advertising strategy with marketing package to showcase new opportunities here</li>
<li>Raising the profile of our membership, both as individuals and as a group.</li>
<li>Promoting PGGB as a resource within the Film & TV industry.</li>
<li>Promoting the work of the CEO and PGGB board.</li>
<li>Actively creating panels and profile pieces</li>
<li>Recruitment campaigns for membership and business partners</li>
<li>Working with HRH’s office to develop our inaugural royal patronage</li>
</ul>
<p>Manage and develop the PGGB brand;</p>
<ul>
<li>Develop a distinct voice that represents PGGB</li>
<li>Ensure high standards and consistency across all promotional work</li>
<li>Produce assets to support all areas of work within PGGB Work with CEO on speaker engagements and press activities, with defined calendar for the year</li>
<li>Work with the COO & Digital Coordinator to produce & implement a strategy for the development of the website</li>
<li>Ensure all sections of the website supports the brand and contains relevant messaging for different audiences</li>
<li>Produce content for the website to ensure the site is always up to date and engaging for both our members and broader audiences</li>
<li>Work with PGGB’s Diversity and Inclusion Action Group and National and Regional Chairs to promote work and extend reach.</li>
<li>Oversee a regular schedule of communication to our members to ensure output is balanced across all departments.</li>
<li>Create procedures to ensure wider team are aware of deadlines and communications schedule.</li>
<li>To manage the work of the Marketing Team to deliver promotional activities for membership, training, and business development departments.</li>
<li>Manage a member of the marketing team to promote the Training programme and our short course programme to demonstrate value to the industry and reach attendance targets.</li>
<li>Manage a member of the marketing team, to support our Business Partners, ensuring partners are receiving value from their partnership and we are meeting all agreed obligations.</li>
<li>Manage the PR Consultant, to maximise press coverage and profile for PGGB activities. Utilise own press network to add value here.</li>
<li>Be a proactive member of senior management team. Work with the PGGB team to develop promotional activity and maximise opportunities</li>
<li>Represent the Production Guild at industry events</li>
<li>Work with the CEO on the strategy and promotion of The Production Guild Awards and fundraising events throughout the year</li>
<li>Any other tasks as reasonably required </li>
</ul>
<p><b>Experience and Personal Qualities</b></p>
<p>Essential:</p>
<ul>
<li>Previous senior role in marketing with a strong press contacts network</li>
<li>Experience of contributing to the senior management team of an organisation</li>
<li>Experience of leading the budgetary management and control of projects within an organisation</li>
<li>Proven leadership, line management, teamwork and decision-making skills</li>
<li>Demonstrable interpersonal, networking & communication skills</li>
<li>Extensive brand management and marketing experience and skills</li>
<li>Experience of managing a CRM system for sales and marketing</li>
<li>IT experience, including management of website, e-bulletins, social media, and development of content driven customer journeys.</li>
<li>Excellent working knowledge of outlook, word and excel Flexibility and a ‘can-do’ attitude</li>
<li>Attention to detail and organisational skills</li>
<li>Ability to prioritise and perform to a high standard under pressure and working to deadlines.</li>
</ul>
<p>Desirable:</p>
<ul>
<li>Experience of a membership organisation</li>
<li>Experience in and knowledge of film and TV production industry</li>
