Job Summary Responsible for planning and designing new software and web applications. Edits new and existing applications. Implements, testing and debugging defined software components. Documents all development activity. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge. Job Description Core Responsibilities Development of new applications, features and defect fixes, delivered via Agile Squads The development assignment will be based on HR Service Delivery applications and modules within ServiceNow Working in conjunction with the Business Analyst to define technical solutions for enhancements and defects Deliver assigned Integrations and Web Services Produce technical documentation Adhere to coding standards Project Involvement – manage technical work packages Provide assistance with report configuration Identify and log automation opportunities Build and maintain HR Catalogue Items, request forms, workflow and orchestration Manage and maintain the HR Service Portal Manage support queues when required Provide out of hours on-call support when required Employees at all levels are expected to: Degree in an IT related subject Minimum 2 years ServiceNow experience, including at least 12 months experience of exploiting Service Portal technology coupled with the back-end power of the platform Operational background with performance optimisation experience Desirable: Knowledge and experience if IT Security applications and modules in ServiceNow ServiceNow accredited Advanced System Administration 2 years’ JavaScript development experience 2 years’ Service Portal Web site/application development Knowledge of Workday Disclaimer: This information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees in this role.
