Regional Director, Facilities

The regional director, facilities reports directly to the vice president, facilities. The role is responsible for the planning, organization, execution, and communication of solutions resulting from restaurant-related facilities issues. The right candidate will be a leader people and processes within their market and provide direction to area facilities managers. Their leadership will drive facilities performance quality, maintain brand standards, and maximize life of company assets. *Estimated regional and domestic travel of 25%-50%. Required Core Competencies High level interpersonal communication skills. Director-level business acumen, understanding the needs and implications of interdepartmental collaboration. Proven leadership in directing facilities repair, maintenance, and asset management planning and execution. Proficiency in facilities industry software – CMMS platform & Microsoft Office. Ability to interpret and understand construction drawings. Strategic Leadership & Planning Possesses a keen understanding and experience aligning long-term company objectives with tactical, short-term activities and goals. Provides leadership to a team of three-five direct reports. Has demonstrated success in the leadership and development of people and processes. Ability to act in an advisory capacity to scale Raising Cane’s facilities effectively throughout its domestic development. Skilled at using data to guide critical thinking and decision making. Restaurant and Cross-Functional Support Acts in capacity of facilities management industry professional on behalf of Raising Cane’s restaurants. Leads and supports escalation and solution of facilities-related issues from restaurant level to departmental level. Ensures departmental key performance indicators are measured and reaching or exceeding expectations. Drives intra and interdepartmental collaboration – i.e. communication, comprehensive problem solving, and reporting. Manage Service Providers Works cohesively with area facilities managers to develop a network of regional service providers. Analyzes service provider performance and applies insights to strengthen results. Assesses vendor continuity and manages liabilities/opportunities therein. Reviews proposals and invoices to ensure overall value. Inspects quality of service to ensure it meets brand integrity. Reviews invoices to ensure overall value, fair labor, and adherence to contract pricing Performs field inspections to ensure our restaurants meets our high standards Property and Asset Management Uses data and facilities industry acumen to determine repair/replace decision making of company assets. Partners with procurement and supply chain stakeholders to secure material and equipment needs. Reports condition of assets with recommendation for optimal use scenarios. Analyzes asset total cost of ownership, models future scenarios, and recommends investment. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum three years of facilities management experience within the restaurant/retail/c-store/grocery industries. Business acumen beyond facilities industry. Excellent interpersonal communication skills considering diverse, professional audiences. High level of attention to detail, analytical & decisive decision maker. Knowledge and experience with the following: HVAC/mechanical, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, general maintenance contracting, kitchen equipment, soda and Co2 systems. Connect With Us!
