Lead Process Engineer for Critical CO2 Application (Allam Cycle Application

<b>Are you passionate about leading the adoption of new clean energy technology?</b><br><br><b>Are you passionate about working in a product development environment?</b><br><br><b>Join our innovating Plant & Modules Engineering team!</b><br><br>Baker Hughes Equipment & Projects - Plant and Module Technology typical applications consist of Gas Compression and Liquefaction plants, single lift modules for Turbogenerator or Turbo/Moto Compressor packages, Combined Cycle and ORegenTM Power Generation plants as well as Carbon Capture Solutions.<br><br><b>Create the future of our products</b><br><br>You will support the development, optimization, and execution of process solutions based on Allam Cycle integrated with cryogenic Air Separation Unit (ASU).<br>The Allam Cycle integrated with ASU is a novel oxy-fuel power cycle that utilizes natural gas and oxygen in a semi-closed, high-pressure loop that uses supercritical CO2 as working fluid to produce power in a turboexpander.<br><br>As a Lead Process Engineer for Critical CO2 Application, you will be responsible for:<br> <br><ul><li>Performing simulations of process plants, with the use of specific software i. e. Aspen Plus, Hysys, Unisim;<br></li><li>Performing equipment sizing on the basis of the process data; Performing pressure drops and hydraulic calculations.<br></li><li>Developing PFDs and detailed P&IDs up to 'as built' level and fluid list. Taking part in technical meetings with Customers (i.e. P&IDs review, etc.).<br></li><li>Having knowledge of HSE and Safety rules, including basic competencies in fire protection<br></li><li>Participating and contributing to design reviews and safety reviews (Hazid, Hazop, FERA, FMEA, etc.) from conceptual to detailed design.<br></li><li>Checking, commenting, and managing in VDR Vendors' documentation and participating to sub-supplier technical alignment.<br></li><li>Participating to the full process design starting from early project stages supporting feasibility, pre-FEED, FEED and EPC activities to position BH Oxy-fuel technology and solutions and you could also be involved in other BH technologies ranging from Gas Treatment and Liquefaction Plants (LNG) to Carbon Capture Plant.<br></li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br> <br><ul><li>Have a MSc. in Chemical or Mechanical engineering.<br></li><li>Have proven experience in process engineering, in-depth experience in Allam Cycle process solutions and ASU will be preferential.<br></li><li>Have Aspen Plus in-depth expertise and capability to tune the simulation model with Recuperative Heat Exchanger and Air Separation Unit will be considered preferential<br></li><li>Have knowledge of International Codes like API, ANSI, ASME.<br></li><li>Have knowledge of simulation software i. e. Aspen Plus, Hysys, Unisim;<br></li><li>Have problem solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work in large and global teams.<br></li><li>Have excellent written and verbal communications skills.
