Alteryx Developer in Monterrey - HR Analytics & Metrics Technical Analyst

FUNDAMENTAL COMPONENTS/ RESPONSIBILITIES Design and develop ETL workflows and datasets in Alteryx to be used by the BI reporting tool. Write advanced SQL queries against multiple databases (Oracle, SQL Server) with focus on automation/manipulation of these extracts in Alteryx. Work in partnership with the DW team to optimize and tune the performance of SQL queries by leveraging techniques such as reviewing indexes, explain plans, testing with incremental loads etc. Design and develop interactive BI dashboards using ThoughtSpot, Tableau, PowerBI or similar BI tool. Schedule and monitor running of Alteryx jobs and troubleshoot in case of job failures or server downtime. Lead discussions with business partners to identify functional requirements resulting in data acquisition for BI applications. Responsible to triage requests, gather user requirements and facilitate ad-hoc report/ data requests with a quick turn-around time. Mentor and develop training material for team members. Qualifications KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: 3-5 years of experience in Alteryx platform, with involvement in data preparation, data blending, and complex data sets using Alteryx. Proficient in SQL and ability to analyze data from multiple sources, including Oracle, Microsoft SQL as well as flat file base such as csv. Advanced Excel skills. Experience in building, publishing and managing reports/dashboards leveraging Tableau or any other BI tool (Ex. PowerBI, ThoughtSpot) Experience of Data Quality checks & validation using Alteryx. Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting abilities. Ability to follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and data. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED: Knowledge of using predictive analytics tools such as R, Python or SAS Working knowledge of HR processes and terminology Competency of BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Thoughspot) Analytical techniques such as optimization process, predictive models, and text analytics/ NLP EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Information Science, HR Analytics or related discipline Schedule: Full-time Req: 007ZXB
