Pharmacy Educator/Compl Coord

Þpartment Pharmacy Job Summary The Pharmacy Educator/Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for orienting all new pharmacy technicians, pharmacy technician students, interns, and students to the SMH Pharmacy department, as well as, responsibility for the planning, execution, and documentation of all department training required by federal, state, local, hospital and pharmacy-specific laws, policies and SOPs. This position may also perform duties of the Pharmacy Technician I, II, or III. Required Qualifications - Require registered as a pharmacy technician as required by the Florida Board of Pharmacy. - Require five (5) years of experience in a Pharmacy Technician role within SMHCS or a comparable organization. - Require Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certification, and maintained throughout employment. - Require the ability to obtain a level 2 AHCA clearance. Preferred Qualifications - Prefer previous structured training and/or teaching experience.
