Design Engineer - NPD Energy Transition and O&G Compression Products

<b>As an NPD Energy Transition and O&G Compression Products Lead Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:</b><br><br><ul><li>Leading the design and validation phase of new products, executing the development of cross-functional projects.</li><li>Executing design, calculations, analysis and evaluation in multidisciplinary areas of engineering.</li><li>Developing ideas providing relevant effort in structuring conceptual roadmaps to target the goals.</li><li>Executing new design tools and methods, prototypes, verification and testing of new concepts and products.</li><li>Generating detailed technical reports and documentation of the design and testing phases of the product development.</li><li>Supporting and executing the consolidation and standardization of the Energy Transition and Compression Products.</li><li>Supporting market research to determine what types of products might be successful among consumers, collaborating across the business functions.</li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion<br> </b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br><br><ul><li>Have an open mindset ready to learn and apply new concepts.</li><li>Have a solid background with experience in Mechanical or Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering.</li><li>Have an open approach to problem solving, expanding the current theory, methods, and tools knowledge to fill the gaps.</li><li>Knowledge of mechanical systems configuration and structural design.</li></ul><ul><li>Demonstrate good computer skills and be familiar with CAD modelling, FEA, programming.</li><li>Understand thermodynamic principles applied to turbomachinery performances.</li><li>Understand material mechanisms such as static, fatigue, fracture, and creep behavior.</li></ul><ul><li>Demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.</li><li>Have good verbal and written skills, be fluent in English and hold an EU passport.</li></ul><br><br><b>About Us:</b><br> With operations in over 120 countries, we provide better solutions for our customers and richer opportunities for our people.
