As a global team, we create Audit training materials across a range of modalities including, virtual and face to face classroom, eLearns, learning games, videos and microlearning. We then make these materials available to territory Learning &amp; Development (L&amp;D) teams to implement locally.</p><p><br /> </p><p><b><b>About you;</b></b></p><p></p><p>We are looking for an experienced Learning Experience Designer to join the GAQ-L&amp;E team. The role is based in London, reporting to the GAQ-L&amp;E Learning Design and Technology Lead.</p><p></p><p>The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of adult learning theory, best practice instructional design methods and learning development processes. They will have experience of working on interactive / innovative elearning solutions, from initial ideas generation through to launch, including facilitating design meetings, creating and revising design materials, and advising on development tools - working closely with Subject Matter Champions (SMCs) and developers etc throughout the cycle. </p><p></p><p>They will also be able to effectively communicate ideas visually and use basic graphic packages (e.g. MS Visio, PowerPoint) to create mock-ups and simple images etc. Experience of working on other digital / non digital learning modalities will also be an advantage, though not a requirement.</p><p></p><p><b><b>Role Requirements;</b> </b></p><p></p><ul><li><p>Provide expert design consultation on individual blended learning modules, using adult learning principles and instructional design best practice</p></li><li><p>Facilitate the design meetings and follow-up activities to translate needs into innovative high level module design</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Advise on the best approach to deliver on the high level design considering established processes and where these may need to be flexed to best achieve needs while managing risk.</p></li><li><p>Perform review and provide consultation throughout the lifecycle of the project, including  – including reviewing scripts and online solutions to ensure fit for purpose use of interactivity, media and interface design.</p></li><li><p>Develop mock-ups and proof of concepts</p></li><li><p>Advise on the use of learning technology (tools &amp; infrastructure) possibilities and limitations working closely with learning technology specialists</p></li><li><p>Advise on assessment and evaluation possibilities and considerations, making appropriate recommendations</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Develop and maintain best practice guidance on adult learning theory and learning experience design for use across the GAQ-L&amp;E team.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Create, identify and respond to opportunities to provide consultancy and coaching within GAQ - L&amp;E</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Share knowledge with the wider GAQ -L&amp;E team and the Global PwC Learning &amp; Development community.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Communicate regularly with the Learning Design and Digital Production Lead to provide oversight on assigned projects, coaching needs and opportunities for process improvement etc</p></li><li><p>Prioritise work, in conjunction with other relevant parties, to meet agreed requirements in a cost effective manner.</p></li><li><p>Project manage non-complex projects with a high degree of custom design to support efficiency.</p></li></ul><p><br /> </p><p><b><u>Skills and experience</u></b></p><p></p><ul><li><p>A growth mindset - ability to adapt and embrace challenges as opportunities for growth</p></li><li><p>A strong understanding of the end to end design and development process</p></li><li><p>An understanding of, and a passion for, Adult Learning</p></li><li><p>An understanding of industry standard development tools (e.g. Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise, Review etc), Vyond, Gomo or similar tools)</p></li><li><p>Customer focussed at all times – understanding their needs and keeping them in mind when taking actions or making decisions</p></li><li><p>The ability to build and strengthen long-term relationships</p></li><li><p>Goal orientated – maintaining focus on agreed objectives and deliverables</p></li><li><p>Analytical thinking skills – effective identification of issues and the application of sound conclusions resulting in the right solution, at the right time, at the right cost</p></li><li><p>Proactive follow-up and monitoring – checking progress against targets, reporting as necessary and taking action to resolve exceptions</p></li><li><p>Be a team player, with the ability to help the team out with whatever is required</p></li><li><p>Strong communication skills, including using active listening skills to understand others ideas, confidently providing their viewpoints and perspective, and using effective questioning techniques to navigate ambiguity</p></li></ul><p><br /><br /> </p><br /><p><strong>Not the role for you?</strong><br />Did you know PwC offers flexible career arrangements and contract work?
