As a global team, we create Audit training materials across a range of modalities including, virtual and face to face classroom, eLearns, learning games, videos and microlearning. We then make these materials available to territory Learning & Development (L&D) teams to implement locally. About you;We are looking for an experienced Learning Experience Designer to join the GAQ-L&E team. The role is based in London, reporting to the GAQ-L&E Learning Design and Technology Lead.The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of adult learning theory, best practice instructional design methods and learning development processes. They will have experience of working on interactive / innovative elearning solutions, from initial ideas generation through to launch, including facilitating design meetings, creating and revising design materials, and advising on development tools - working closely with Subject Matter Champions (SMCs) and developers etc throughout the cycle. They will also be able to effectively communicate ideas visually and use basic graphic packages (e.g. MS Visio, PowerPoint) to create mock-ups and simple images etc. Experience of working on other digital / non digital learning modalities will also be an advantage, though not a requirement.Role Requirements; <ul><li>Provide expert design consultation on individual blended learning modules, using adult learning principles and instructional design best practice</li><li>Facilitate the design meetings and follow-up activities to translate needs into innovative high level module design</li></ul><ul><li>Advise on the best approach to deliver on the high level design considering established processes and where these may need to be flexed to best achieve needs while managing risk.</li><li>Perform review and provide consultation throughout the lifecycle of the project, including – including reviewing scripts and online solutions to ensure fit for purpose use of interactivity, media and interface design.</li><li>Develop mock-ups and proof of concepts</li><li>Advise on the use of learning technology (tools & infrastructure) possibilities and limitations working closely with learning technology specialists</li><li>Advise on assessment and evaluation possibilities and considerations, making appropriate recommendations</li></ul><ul><li>Develop and maintain best practice guidance on adult learning theory and learning experience design for use across the GAQ-L&E team.</li></ul><ul><li>Create, identify and respond to opportunities to provide consultancy and coaching within GAQ - L&E</li></ul><ul><li>Share knowledge with the wider GAQ -L&E team and the Global PwC Learning & Development community.</li></ul><ul><li>Communicate regularly with the Learning Design and Digital Production Lead to provide oversight on assigned projects, coaching needs and opportunities for process improvement etc</li><li>Prioritise work, in conjunction with other relevant parties, to meet agreed requirements in a cost effective manner.</li><li>Project manage non-complex projects with a high degree of custom design to support efficiency.</li></ul> Skills and experience<ul><li>A growth mindset - ability to adapt and embrace challenges as opportunities for growth</li><li>A strong understanding of the end to end design and development process</li><li>An understanding of, and a passion for, Adult Learning</li><li>An understanding of industry standard development tools (e.g. Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise, Review etc), Vyond, Gomo or similar tools)</li><li>Customer focussed at all times – understanding their needs and keeping them in mind when taking actions or making decisions</li><li>The ability to build and strengthen long-term relationships</li><li>Goal orientated – maintaining focus on agreed objectives and deliverables</li><li>Analytical thinking skills – effective identification of issues and the application of sound conclusions resulting in the right solution, at the right time, at the right cost</li><li>Proactive follow-up and monitoring – checking progress against targets, reporting as necessary and taking action to resolve exceptions</li><li>Be a team player, with the ability to help the team out with whatever is required</li><li>Strong communication skills, including using active listening skills to understand others ideas, confidently providing their viewpoints and perspective, and using effective questioning techniques to navigate ambiguity</li></ul> Not the role for you?
