Þpartment Pharmacy Job Summary This leader has accountability, oversight, and supervises the daily activities of the pharmacy intern program. They also support the ongoing recruitment, selection, orientation, training, and competency of pharmacy staff. In this role, the leader sets the tone and models positive leadership behavior, while ensuring successful completion of individual and teamwork tasks, projects, and responsibilities in support of departmental and organizational goals. Required Qualifications - Require active license as a pharmacist in the State of Florida or license eligible within ninety (90) days of hire, or active Florida Pharmacy Intern license until Active Pharmacist license is obtained. - Require a Bachelor Degree of an accredited college of pharmacy. - Require five (5) years of recent, applicable institutional practice experience or other comparable professional qualifications. Preferred Qualifications - Prefer relationship with a college of pharmacy as an adjunct or associate professor or other comparable professional qualifications. - Prefer American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) PGY1 certificate (requirement for residency program). - Prefer Board of Pharmaceutical Care Specialists certification.
