Full Job Description MISSION The Senior Embedded Software Designer is responsible for the main functional analyzes of the software of an integrated system, participating in all the study phases of a project mainly related to Chiller / Crac machines; It also deals with adapting and improving software solutions, also in terms of machine performance; It also carries out a consultancy activity on software design through the formalization of technical specifications, the interpretation of industrial electrical diagrams and the analysis of bills of materials; It supports the experimental prototyping and testing phases of the implemented solutions by providing all possible references for a correct analysis; It relates to the Plant Areas in the event of production blocks; It interacts with the Service Areas to maximize customer satisfaction by identifying the best containment actions. In case of need / urgency, he makes himself available to travel of any kind; Interacts with the Sales Areas to carry out detailed pre-analysis of requests for offers; Responds to the Electromechanical Project Design Leader; KEY RESPONSIBILITIES It follows the entire life cycle of a software development project (in the Precision Cooling Industry) dealing specifically with: the analysis of the feasibility of the project (also considering the timing); support for Marketing during the creation of the offer, helping him to draw up the Specifications; software development based on functional specifications; the preparation of a functional check-list for the subsequent software test, performed by third parties; the preparation of useful documentation the official Technical Manual; of the preparation of Instructions useful for Production in the testing phase. Adapts already tested solutions, proposing and implementing product improvement solutions, dealing specifically with: Supports the Field Service Engineer in case of machine malfunctions or in case of start-ups, if necessary directly on site It supports the ETO Team, in case of high workload or development of complex projects He constantly confronts the Team Leader of the department he belongs to, discussing technical problems, costs, product performance and any critical issues that have arisen. It also interacts with the Project Manager and with the responsible designers (electrical and thermodynamic) for the development of international projects. It interfaces with Production, providing technical assistance and documentary instructions and with Quality, relating to software problems and general operation of the machine, studying containment actions BASIC TECHNICAL SKILLS Knowledge on SW platform (EasyTool, soMachine, C / C ++) Knowledge on Software Design Tecniques Knowledge on Industrial Communication Protocol Knowledge on cooling products Qualifications Educational Qualification: Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech Computer Science or Related Field Years of experience: Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience in Development of Firmware for HVAC products Schedule: Full-time Req: 00891Z
