Job Summary Responsible for the technical program management activities and alignment for strategic programs, coordinating among a wide range of cross-functional internal and external resources to ensure that programs are within the scope, within budget and on schedule, with guidance from senior staff member(s). Serve as the program lead for specific, defined multi-discipline technical programs or projects of greater than average complexity and scope. Responsible and accountable in the planning, development and delivery of new technical programs. Acts as a technical expert in own area within the organization. May work independently or as part of a team on more complex projects. Provides mentoring and guidance to more junior team members. May be responsible for leading a team but does not directly manage people. Job Description Core Responsibilities Strategic Transformation: work in close partnership with the leadership team to manage the scope, plan, and delivery of the transformation roadmap to bring efficiencies and transform ways of working • Design and drive implementation of the new operating model and ways of working • Analysing and researching exciting new ways to drive organisational change and growth/development strategies into the heart of high-performing teams • Supporting, owning and delivering the strategy for elements of the Transformation programme • Working collaboratively and inclusively with individuals and teams across Sky to turn great ideas into pragmatic solutions • Shape the initiation of new activity, defining the scope/approach, ensuring a clear rationale, defining the governance and reporting structure • Ensure key updates, issues, decisions etc. are known, appraised, mitigated and effectively communicated to business stakeholders, sponsors, etc. • Lead end to end delivery of all transformation initiatives and ensuring there is a robust plan for each initiative from initiation to adoption and measuring benefits and outcomes • Managing a team directly or indirectly to deliver the initiatives as part of the overall strategy People & Comms: partnering and collaborating with the Sky and Comcast People teams to deliver the people plan and strategy for Sky India • Supporting the delivery of the team strategy by driving effective engagement and leading key initiatives across the Sky India team • Supporting the delivery of the comms programme to build awareness and appreciation of the Sky India brand and strategy • Supporting communications activities that will help grow and engage a diverse and talented pipeline of future team members Planning: help drive our business forward using data to inform our decisions and measure our performance • Defining the key KPIs that the team will be measured against and agreeing them with stakeholders • Establishing a balanced scorecard to track the agreed KPIs on a regular basis • Establishing the governance process for the balance scorecard to be communicated and reported • Working with your stakeholders to ensure that plans are in place to meet the agreed levels of performance and that remedial action plans are invoked in the event that performance falls below expected levels • Providing recommendations and lead initiatives to further improve performance or efficiencies across the entirety of the operating model • Providing commercial and financial support to other members of the team with business cases and other commercial asks • Collating and co-ordinating the submission of weekly reports You will be: • An expert in bringing people together, working across all levels in the business, to drive towards a common goal, able to adjust style to influence different types of people • Passion for cultivating long-term relationships with key stakeholders and partners • An excellent and enthusiastic communicator at all levels: credible with the Executive and have a strong track record of delivery • A change and transformation expert with ability to translate Strategic ideas into initiatives and deliverable plan • You have a can-do attitude and enjoy learning new things. • You have a track record of leading and delivering programmes • A problem-solver, resilient, with the tenacity and relationship skills to overcome barriers to delivery.
