Lead Mechanical Design Engineer - Gas Turbines Auxiliaries

<b> Do you enjoy being part of a successful team? </b> <b> Do you love designing products that will innovate? </b> <br><br><b> Join our Team! </b><br><br> Our team deliver strategic projects for CCUS, Hydrogen and Clean Fuels and New Energy Management Solutions, scout innovative technologies and originates opportunities to expand our portfolio of decarbonized solutions, manage programs for technology development and lead early customers' engagement to position innovative solutions. <br><br><b> Partner with the best </b><br><br> As Gas Turbines Auxiliaries Lead Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible of mechanical design activities of all auxiliary systems and equipment required for Gas Turbine driven trains: baseplates, piping, structures, process equipment selection such as valves, pumps, motors, heat exchangers, filters, separators, lube oil console, fuel skid, etc. <br><br>As Gas Turbines Auxiliaries Lead Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:<br><ul><li>Defining plant and foundation layout of gas turbine trains, including 3D modelling and assembly.</li><li>Issuing of technical documentation (drawings, reports and purchasing specification) for the assigned jobs with high focus on quality, completeness, consistency and alignment with customer and internal/international standards.</li><li> Designing of mechanical auxiliary systems, performing the necessary calculations for systems sizing and components selection </li><li> Performing finite element analyses on base frames, foundation loads calculation, lifting analysis, piping stress analysis to validate preliminary design </li><li>Assigning tasks associated to products design to the engineering contractors monitoring design progress.</li><li>Supporting site and manufacturing team during assembly phases.</li><li>Attending design reviews and internal meetings with customers and other functions to validate design.</li><li>Collaborating with procurement for proper design to cost and with suppliers for performing technical alignments.</li><li>Supporting continuous improvement initiatives</li></ul><br><br><b> Fuel your passion </b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br><ul><li>Hold a master's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace Engineering with a good and proven experience in a similar role.</li><li>Have knowledge of finite elements methodology applied to rotating equipment and steel structure including static, dynamic and vibration analysis</li><li>Demonstrate basic knowledge of industrial manufacturing process and materials</li><li>Be a clear thinker: take decisions with speed and accuracy based on best available information.</li><li>Show interpersonal skills and ability to interface effectively with different levels of the organization and external Customers.</li><li>Have an entrepreneurial mindset that allows you to be self-directed, highly resilient, creative and solution oriented.</li><li>Be fluent in English and Italian and hold an EU work permit.</li></ul><br><br><b> Work in a way that works for you </b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
