<b>About this role </b><br />
The Application Integration Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting an enterprise-wide integration platform and data interfaces for the SLB Business Applications ecosystem, including on-premise, custom written, and cloud-based applications. In this role they will be responsible for developing ETL, ESB, MFT, and other integrations according to the technical design of the solution in adherence to development standards and process including unit testing, regression testing, performance testing, code review, etc.<br />

<b>Key responsibilities </b></p>

<ul>
<li>Build ESB, ETL, API Led Integrations across applications using the right integration pattern and right platform.</li>
<li>Developing synchronous and asynchronous messaging architectures, rule-based systems, and network architectures.</li>
<li>Coordinating activities with other developers to ensure that integration projects are completed on time.</li>
<li>Work closely with Integration architects to formulate strategies and design architectures for systems integrations.</li>
<li>Ensuring that best practices in integration processes are followed as per SLB governance standards.</li>
<li>Maintaining the integrity and smooth functioning of the integration architecture as per standards defined.</li>
<li>Analyzing and improving current system integrations and migration strategies.</li>
<li>Identifying, debugging, and advising on system errors or architecture issues.</li>
<li>Design APIs and deploy them to the Apigee API platform</li>
<li>Optimize integration platform to provide optimal performance under required conditions.</li>

<li>Basic Knowledge of any technology (Software programming, JAVA, XSLT, XML, etc.)</li>
<li>Preferred knowledge in Basic Java, XML, java scripts.</li>
<li>Exposure to developing REST based APIs</li>
<li>Exposure to any Integration Platform or technology like Tibco, Informatica, APIGEE etc would be an added advantage</li>
<li>Strong written and oral communication skills (including ability to present ideas in user friendly, business-friendly and technical language) and interpersonal skills with a focus on rapport-building, listening and questioning skills.</li>
<li>Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, including ability to anticipate, identify, and solve critical problems</li>
