The Production Leader is responsible for all manufacturing operations to ensure a safe, consistent daily operational environment and to build a culture of teamwork and accountability. In this role the Production Leader will manage the Nexus Controls Campinas manufacturing team to achieve site goals and overall business objectives in the manufacture and test of Nexus Controls products.<br />

<b>As a Nexus Controls Production Leader, you will be responsible for: </b></p>

<ul>
<li>Responsible for all processes, documentation and procedures related to project manufacturing, test, and quality assurance.</li>
<li>Manage all daily manufacturing operations throughout the production areas.</li>
<li>Ensure products are delivered on time with the highest quality levels.</li>
<li>Champion a safe working environment.</li>
<li>Drive shop floor operations teams towards execution of business goals using Lean Manufacturing methodology and Brilliant Factory tools.</li>
<li>Promote a working environment that encourages employee involvement to achieve excellence in productivity, customer service, quality, inventory and Health, Safety and Environmental Protection (HSE).</li>
<li>Improve operations performance as measured by on time delivery, cost of quality, cycle time and production costs.</li>
<li>Ensure sufficient capacity exists to achieve all customer commitments.</li>
<li>Work in a seamless fashion with materials, engineering, project management, quality and other associated functions to achieve business goals.</li>
<li>Develop, review and action reports and metrics for manufacturing work centers and activities.</li>
<li>Communicate safety and quality issues and all production shortfalls to affected functions in a timely fashion.</li>
<li>Ensure communication of key business / customer issues to employees</li>
</ul>

<li>Bachelor&
39;s degree from an accredited university or college</li>
<li>Experience with manufacturing/operations</li>
<li>Prior experience working in a Lean manufacturing environment</li>
<li>Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese</li>
<li>Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Demonstrate mentoring and coaching abilities that demonstrate motivation and inspiration of others.</li>
</ul>

<li>Experience in Lean Manufacturing, OPEX and/or TPM implementation and generation of manufacturing transformation plans.</li>
<li>Knowledge and experience of SAP (or other ERP system) for production scheduling and support.</li>
<li>Knowledge of the disciplines of manufacturing management such as production and inventory control, variable cost productivity, fulfillment metrics, quality systems, and cost systems.</li>
<li>Strong oral and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence and communicate with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.</li>
<li>Inclusive leadership style with proven ability to build a connection with the team through personal involvement and trust.</li>
<li>MBA or Masters Degree in manufacturing, business or engineering.</li>
<li>Ability to coordinate multiple priorities at one time.</li>
<li>Ability to cope with and resolve multiple complex situations daily.</li>
<li>Ability to manage priorities to achieve target results.</li>
<li>Aspire graduate.</li>
<li>Six Sigma training is preferred.</li>
</ul>
