Customer-Facing API Analyst

During the year 2022, the Customer-Facing APIs targeted mostly to the distributors have significantly evolved and are now managed as a separate product. There are in general 10 APIs consumed directly by our customers providing them an ability for system-to-system integration. We’ve had 47 million API calls last year; we clearly understand that we need to enhance these APIs further, including their performance, customer experience, even business-logic behind. And this is what this position is about. What you will do: Main goal is to make sure the APIs Schneider provides to our customers are best in class and exceed our customers’ expectations To do so, you will have to work on analyzing the existing API traffic, detecting the weak points, and proposing any needed changes You will also be working on managing the enhancement projects – both on architecture and business-processes behind You will be directly exposed to our customers’ business and technical teams working together with them on designing the most efficient integrations Our teammates from Global and the countries will also rely on you as an expert in everything related to the APIs and/or integration You will work on daily monitoring of our API usage Based on pure technical logs analysis, you will answer any business-oriented questions our teammates might have You will make sure 100% of our customers’ requests are taken care of and 100% of their credentials are working fine. The Customer-Facing APIs Portal will be part of your responsibility as well. Current challenges and expected results: Currently due to some ERP limitations not all countries support all the APIs available in portfolio. The goal is to make more APIs available in more countries by implementing the respected services on respected ERPs. Some of the APIs are experiencing performance issues. The goal is to resolve them. There’s currently no business KPI identified and implemented, only the technical ones. Implementing and achieving business KPIs is one of the goals for 2023. Continuous support for our customers is also extremely important. Required experience: Proven ability to work on the proposed tasks Understanding of microservices concept and dispersed architecture Knowledge of one or several programming languages and/or low-code environment is a plus Strong business analysis skills Ability to transform the business requirements into a technical task Ability to analyze the technical logs and find business-oriented data Pro-active monitoring approach Strong project management skill Ability to convince by providing decent technical analysis High level of overall digital expertise Required skills: Customer-First, friendly and goal-oriented Knowledge of ESB, PI, REST API, AWS, Kibana at least on a user level is an advantage Project Management ERP Architecture API Product Management Process Management Analytics Fluently speaking 3+ languages is a big advantage Why us?
