The Flexible Pipe Systems business supply specialist unbonded flexible subsea flowline and riser technology globally.<br><br><b> Partner with the best </b><br><br>As a <b> Junior Riser Design Engineer </b> - Global Analyst, <b>you will </b> <b> receive appropriate training to allow you to </b> work within the Baker Hughes Flexible Pipe Systems Engineering team to provide global analysis engineering support from bid acquisition through to project execution . <br><br>As a Junior Riser Design Engineer - Global Analyst, you will be responsible for:<br> <br><ul><li> Creating dynamic model s in FEA software simulating structure response in the offshore environment </li><li> Designing and analysing flexible riser systems to meet Client specifications and industry standards </li><li> Assessing environmental and vessel data for implementation into a system model </li><li> Presenting design documentation results (Metocean Data, mooring reports etc) </li><li> Producing comprehensive analysis reports for submission as part of either FEED study or Project Execution work </li></ul><br><br><b> Fuel your passion </b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br> <br><ul><li> Have a degree from an accredited university in Mechanical, Structural Engineering or Naval Architecture </li><li> Have an interest in design of offshore structures </li><li> Have basic experience in Finite Element Analysis </li><li> Have a knowledge of structural mechanics, fluid mechanics , stress analysis and buckling strength analysis of structural components </li><li> Have the ability to write technical reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals; organize and provide technical documentation in a logical format for customer evaluation </li></ul><br><br><b> Work in a way that works for you </b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
