Labour Supply and Logistics Lead

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is actively recruiting for a <b>Labour Supply and Logistics Lead.</b> <br><br>In line with Wood's core value, this individual will ensure delivery of the service in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner. The successful candidate will perform their duties in line with contractual requirements, to the satisfaction of customers and to Wood. These duties include: <br><ul><li> Acting as focal point for Trade personnel within assigned Contracts </li><li> Assuring the provision of a fully staffed, competent workforce and support all training and development requirements. </li><li> Workforce planning and recruitment, keeping up with the demands of the industry. </li><li> Providing support to the frontline supervisory teams both onshore and offshore. </li><li> Providing safety leadership to the entire workforce and engagement through site visits. </li><li> Stewarding compliance with collective agreements and providing labour relations support to the P&O and supervisory teams. </li><li> Liasioning with Wood entities to cross pollinate best practices. </li></ul><br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br>Candidates should possess the following qualifications: <br><ul><li> Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior role particularly with experience in Construction and Maintenance Management and Trade Recruitment / Management. </li><li> Degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of experience and / or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved will be considered. </li><li> Good working knowledge of industry codes, specifications and applications across all trades. </li><li> Experience and knowledge of the offshore industry as a whole </li><li> Effective communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li> Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt to changing needs upon short notice. </li><li> Offshore Travel will be required for site visits thus associated Training is required. </li></ul><br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
