Are you a recent graduate in Psychology, Sociology or Education?</p><p> </p><p>A Swindon based school are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is able to start ASAP to work with students who face a number of mental health struggles including trauma and anxiety due to past experiences. You will be expected to manage behaviour of these students and assist the main class teacher in the learning of children with Mental Health and Education Needs. The Mental Health Teaching Assistant will be responsible for 1:1 work with students to enhance learning of all aspects of the National Curriculum as well as group and whole class work when necessary.</p><p>The Mental Health Teaching Assistant in Swindon will have the opportunity to personally develop with specific training provided by the school.</p><p> </p><p>The job role:</p><p>-Swindon</p><p>-Mental Health Teaching Assistant</p><p>-Start date ASAP</p><p>-£70-£80 a day</p><p>-Additional training in Mental Health and SEN needs including safe guarding provided</p><p>-Opportunities to work with other professionals in the field</p><p> </p><p>This role is ideal for someone looking for a career in Psychology, Sociology or Education.
