Senior Project Manager

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to form part of our project team in our Melbourne CBD Office. Reporting to the Assignment Manager, the ideal candidate would act as the main client interface and manage a team to deliver an EPC project to scope, cost and schedule. Experience with management of fast tracked project delivery and working with previous oil and gas service providers especially in PNG or similar geographical locations would be preferred. <br><ul><li> Project manage a full EPC delivery team and subcontractors to deliver projects from front end design, through detailed design, procurement, construction, hand over and close-out Bottom line responsibility for the financial and technical success of a project </li><li> Stakeholder engagement and management </li><li> Statement of Requirements throughout the phasing of the project from concept, detail design, and site implementation </li><li> Implementation of the company quality management system for the project </li><li> Champion HSSE in all aspects of their role </li><li> Ability in building a TIC estimate based on client requirements and execution needs </li><li> Prepared to travel to site if the project demands require it </li><li> Strong Management of Change and risk mitigation </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Bachelor Degree in Engineering </li><li> Minimum 10 years of experience in a Project Management role managing EPC or EPCM projects in a Greenfield or Brownfield hydrocarbons environment, preferably in the oil and gas industry </li><li> Previous experience in a role of Project Manager leading a project multidiscipline team </li><li> Demonstrated supervisory and administration skills necessary to organise and lead a project team, develop design / implementation schedules and provide on-going status reports to the senior management team </li><li> Demonstrated strong commitment to safety </li><li> Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and oral. </li></ul><br> Candidates must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role <br><br>If you're an experienced Senior Project Manager, ready for your next project, then we are keen to hear from you today <br><br>Apply now and take the next step in your career with this exciting opportunity! <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
