<div class="mds-edited-text mds-font-body-copy-bulk"><p> </p> </p><p><strong>Office Administrator - London</strong></p><p> </p><p><strong>Duration:</strong> 3 months</p><p><strong>Location: </strong>London, Ladbroke Grove</p><p><strong>Hours: </strong>Part time, 4 day per week (28 hours)</p><p><strong>Salary: </strong>£14.83 per hour plus £1.79 per hour holiday pay (equivalent to £27,000 per annum pro rata)</p><p><strong>Projected start date: </strong>3rd January 2023</p><p><strong>Hybrid:</strong> 2 days per week in the office the rest from home</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>We are delighted to be working with a local charity in West London. The aim of their work is to strengthen and promote local voluntary and community organisations and the communities they work with, through the provision of training, advice and information.</p><p><strong>About the role:</strong></p><p>As an Office Administrator you would be responsible for all aspects of the smooth running of the office and administrative functions, ensuring that the office is a safe, welcoming and efficient environment for staff and visitors. You will provide basic finance and HR support as well as general administration support across the team.</p><p> </p><p><strong>About you:</strong></p><p>You will have strong organisational and administration skills with ability to work independently and within a team, taking initiative, problem solving abilities, self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision. You will be professional, adaptable, willing and able to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities and demonstrate flexibility.</p><p> </p><p><strong>If successful, the main duties of your role will include:</strong></p><p>* Identify issues with the office environment and liaise with the landlord or engage and oversee the work of external contractors as requested.</p><p>* Ensure that office supplies are maintained at appropriate levels and storage spaces kept safe and well-organised.</p><p>* Undertake 'PA' duties for the CEO and Senior Management Team on request eg scheduling and servicing meetings, supporting the production of reports, policies &amp; procedures, organizing meetings and liaison.</p><p>* Work with the staff team to keep the website and database up-to-date.</p><p>* Monitor office expenditure, including direct debits, working with the Deputy CEO, accountant and bookkeeper to assist in financial management including annual budget setting.</p><p>* Bank all monies received, chase creditors for payment and administer petty cash.</p><p>* Undertake all general finance administration including processing of invoices, authorising payments and managing the system of online banking.</p><p>* Undertake all personnel administration such as: maintaining personnel files, issuing contracts and other formal communications to staff as required by line managers.</p><p>* Support the recruitment and induction of staff working with the relevant line manager.</p><p>* Co-ordinate training and development opportunities for all KSCS staff including monitoring training attended, researching and booking courses.</p><p> </p><p><strong>How to apply:</strong></p><p>We are looking to move quickly with this role.
