Charity People is partnering with an international conservation organisation to look for a skilled and passionate Fundraising Manager to join the friendly and collaborative team. This full-time fundraising management role comes with international travel opportunities, an attractive salary of up to £70,000 and a fantastic benefits package.</p><p><strong>About the charity </strong></p><p>They are an international conservation organisation that protects Africa's remaining natural ecosystems and the large wild animals they contain, while bringing major social and economic value to local communities and national governments. It was founded in 2011, is headquartered in Kenya, and is registered as a charity in the UK and the US. Their mission is to protect the natural ecosystems on which Africa's large wild animals depend, ensuring they are valued by local people. They currently work in 10 countries across Central, East and Southern Africa, focusing on some of the most pressing challenges facing the conservation of megafauna today.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>About the role </strong></p><p>As a talented Fundraising Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the organisation's fundraising and thereby ensuring that the organisation meets their annual and five-year funding targets. Please note that this role requires a great amount of flexibility as there will be regular international travel (approx. once a month) and liaising with stakeholders in other time zones.</p><p>To give you an idea of how this fundraising management job would look and feel, here are some things you could expect to do:</p><ul><li>Direct and support the fundraising team in securing significant funding from institutional funding, relationships and grants</li><li>Direct and support the fundraising team in the continued cultivation of HNWs and corporate partners through tailored engagement strategies</li><li>Guide and support the fundraising team in conceptualisation and oversight to deliver events that generate meaningful discretionary funding</li><li>Oversee the production of high-quality donor materials and reports</li></ul><p><strong>About you</strong></p><p>To apply for this Fundraising Manager role, you will need an extensive amount of experience in fundraising in the not-for-profit sector. You will also require proven expertise in securing and managing significant funding, including multiple large institutional grants of 7+ figures. In addition, you should have competence in using fundraising and marketing software. Knowledge of Salesforce, Pardot, DonorBox, Square Space and Google Grants would be desirable however training can be provide. Experience in marketing strategies and campaigns to engage donors and secure funds is also essential.
