We are seeking students to join our Advisory team working in our Risk Consulting practice within the Technology Risk Consulting service line in the Toronto Office. The start date for this position is Summer 2023. What you will do You’ll have the opportunity to work across geographies and industries to take on challenging and groundbreaking projects. From analyzing and assessing business processes to improving client performance, you’ll be building strong relationships with our people and developing professional skills that will help set you up for success. In KPMG’s Advisory practice, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, equipped with deep sector knowledge, and use superior analytic tools. You will work directly with your clients to help them improve business performance, leverage IT investments, protect financial assets, manage risk, and boost market confidence. What you bring to the role You have a strong academic record and excel in an entrepreneurial environment. This role is open to CPA candidates and non-CPA candidates (e.g. Finance, Economics, Business, Math, Engineering). You’re highly motivated and passionate professional who strives for excellence, innovation and collaboration, and has the ability to achieve personal and professional success while juggling competing priorities and deadlines. Keys to your success: Strong relationship-building skills to interact with clients, colleagues, and the wider community. Ability to provide crucial consultation, analysis, and recommendations on a broad range of projects in a deadline drive environment with ambiguity. A commitment to continual learning – developing new skills, taking on new responsibilities and broadening your knowledge through research. Effectively work as part of a project team, and communicate findings of analysis, key implications, and recommendations in written and verbal formats.
