The Storeperson will coordinate the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods, using correct handling and storage techniques, to meet quality, time and specified requirements in full compliance with health and safety. <br><br>Duties & Responsibilities: <br><ul><li> From picking lists, assemble kits of electronic, electrical, and/or mechanical components, ready for production in a timely fashion. </li><li> Signing for deliveries on arrival, cross matching deliveries against the order placed. </li><li> Unloading consignments, using the correct equipment (eg forklift truck) and handling techniques, ensuring packaging remains undamaged and in full compliance with health and safety. </li><li> On a needs basis and as required, issuing unplanned components to staff ensuring correct completion of the docket. </li><li> Assisting with stock inventory counts. </li><li> Checking the stock order for specially ordered products and services, ensuring that on receipt these are despatched to relevant personnel by deploying the correct equipment and in full compliance with health and safety. </li><li> For outgoing products to sub-contractors for process, ensuring these are packed appropriately and all paperwork is present in accordance with the purchase order. </li><li> Ensuring the Stores department at all times is kept in a safe and tidy manner adhering to correct storage techniques. </li><li> To work on a shift basis as required, to provide cover for production needs. </li><li> To assist with the delivery of products within the UK as required. </li><li> To carry out any other duties as reasonably required, subject to having necessary skills, as requested by the General Manager. </li></ul> <br><br><b> Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Stores/warehousing background preferred but would be open to an entry level applicant. </li><li> Relevant Oil Industry experience would be preferred. </li><li> Standard grade qualifications (English, Maths, Computing). </li><li> Forklift license is preferred. </li><li> Full and clean driving license. </li><li> Should be familiar with handling heavy equipment within a fast-paced reactive environment. </li><li> Knowledge of wireline equipment would be beneficial. </li><li> Ability to work as part of a team towards achieving shared objectives. </li><li> Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload. </li><li> Adaptable and flexible to accommodate operational requirements. </li><li> Able to work under time constraints and meet deadlines in a professional manner. </li></ul>
