Senior Piping Engineer

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting a Senior Piping Engineer to support the provision of piping engineering services to the Equinor OMMS Contract in Aberdeen. <br><br>The successful candidate will: <br><ul><li> Provide Piping Engineering Expertise </li><li> Provide input to piping and layout studies </li><li> Define piping requirements for technical scopes </li><li> Prepare required calculations and documentation to enable development of deliverables used in offshore workpacks and in the supply chain </li><li> Support the development of and/or develop requisitions for the procurement of piping related material and equipment </li><li> Undertake checking of piping deliverables </li><li> Provide support to the Lead Piping Engineer and the project delivery team </li><li> Provide technical expertise to the contract. </li><li> Resolve piping related engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes and standards </li><li> Adhere to procedures to assure technical integrity of piping designs </li><li> Provide support for interdiscipline considerations through attendance at required design reviews and undertaking inter discipline checking </li><li> Maintain own knowledge and understanding to meet competence requirememts of Senior Piping Engineer </li><li> Provide feedback on lessons learnt to aid in continuous improvement </li><li> Utilise software tools in design development and checking (eg Navisworks , E3D) </li><li> Prepare required documentation in support of PER Technical file </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br>MSc, MEng or equivalent professional qualification or BSc, BEng or equivalent with extensive relevant experience. <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
