We help to reduce future corrosion, improve efficiency and maximize throughput. Our engineered solutions for commissioning, and maintenance shutdowns include specialized services for the oil and gas, power generation, metals and mining.<br><br><b>Partner with the best</b><br><br>As a Field Engineer PPS, you will play a vital role onsite with our customers. You will be responsible for the safe execution and supervision of work carried on out small and medium sized projects. Act as shift supervisor on specific projects and ensure that subordinates follow correct, safe working practices.<br><br>As a Process & Pipeline Field Engineer, you will be responsible for:<br> <br><ul><li>Ensuring that your own health & safety and the health & safety of all fellow workers or other workers are preserved at all times</li><li>Carrying out pre-job engineering as required by the Operations Coordinator.</li><li>Preparing equipment and load-out lists as required by the Operations Coordinator.</li><li>Ensuring that all equipment being loaded out is fit for purpose and in good working order.</li><li>Preparing systems for the proposed work scope. Check system line up and complete valve isolation check sheets prior to starting. Report any conflict or deviation from the procedure to the company / client representative.</li><li>Supervising the rig up / down of equipment and carry out pre- and post-job checks in compliance with job specific/HSE procedures and Permit to Work systems</li><li>Recording all field data necessary for complete job reporting.</li><li>Ensuring all paperwork is complete and is presented to the client for signing on a timely basis, i.e., daily or weekly.</li><li>Ensuring Project Engineer / Coordinator is notified of any changes to site or system conditions and any requests from the Client to deviate from approved procedures.</li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br> <br><ul><li>Be a good team player with ability to work independently</li><li>Have 5 or more years experience in the PPS service line and 2 years of field experience.</li><li>Be aware of aware of O&G main policies and procedures.</li><li>Be able to demonstrate leadership skills</li><li>Have good mechanical aptitude.</li><li>Have good communications skills, written and oral<br> </li></ul><br><br><b>Working with us</b><br><br>Our people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
